Reflection on today’s game by Isaiah Fadzlin…

1. Either dier or Wanyama. Can’t have both as they are not good moving forward. Make our offensive flat and predictable.

2. Janssen plays number 10 and Kane plays the number 9.(maybe should swap jersey number). Janssen the hustler and Kane the drifter.

3. Wingbacks must play wider and more advance to open up the opponent defends.

4. Eriksen or Dele and Lamela must start. Eriksen was none existence today. Dele don’t look 100℅.

Overall is a good start especially the 2nd half. Need to get the flow and focus back.

I really thought the first 45 minutes was a waste of time. We got hit on the quick goal and all the talk about mental strength was nowhere to be seen.

All our first touch was so poor and I thot we rewind ourselves to provably 2 seasons ago. Eriksen agent asking for more money shd rethink, Alli shd change his name back, Lamela was like lost chicken and vert shd be on the bench. Lloris needs time to recover and dun sell Vorm.

U were right is asking the fullbacks to go wife and I think they did. However the ball is not getting to them especially rose. Alli had an opportunity to roll the ball to Rose who made strides to overlap instead he squared it to the feeble Eriksen. I think Eriksen wasn’t prepared for it cos he thot in that situation it was ideal to roll to Rose who can cross in for a tap in. Alli made a wrong decision and had a temerity to tell rose off.

Rose was in the same position as Alli in the second half where he shd have rolled it to Lamela instead he cross lobbed in.

If the players are making that short burst overlapping runs, we shd use them 100%. Our formation shape and tactic is obvious and I really thot Poch would have put some time into trg to change it. This was my biggest disappointment. Biggest. Will this be like the first season when he came in and decide to make the changes in December? I think it be too late by then. Have I already mentioned that this was my biggest disappointment?

Anyway a change was seen when he made the sub before 60th minute. So that’s good. The change in position somewhat confused Everton. I was wondering how come the players dun swap positions in the first half.

I want Wimmer to partner Toby. He needs to cover Rose and I think Vert’s body is unable to cope at this level.

Ur right about playing either Wanyama and Dier. I was surprise he replaced Dier. I guess he wants more flair.

Alli and Eriksen need a kick up their backside – bench them. Play winks and Onomah. Or that Miller fella. At least he is not scared.

Put Kane as 10 and Janssen 9. This be our best bet in my opinion after the pass made by Kane to Janssen attested to this. Marked man can’t stay in the box.

Anyways, last season we lost, we ended third. I guess we be second this season. Heh
